Nadi Residences, reinterpreting the oasis

Nadi bay, Fiji.

Our approach for this site -close but not quite at Lomo Lomo beach- has been to conceptualize a great oasis, where a large body of water embraces the living areas of the project.

A contemplative water themed landscape will add value to the properties, as they will become “waterfront” homes.

At the heart of this proposal is the great lagoon, which will offer water activities like kayaking, swimming, and relaxing in beach lounges.

The project is centered at bringing wellness and connections throughout the site, with an amenities building proposed to promote healthy activities, treatments and services for residents.

A space devoted to nature and family life, thanks to an architecture thought and designed for human growth, well-being and the enjoyment of the oasis that Fiji represents.

A modular multifamily complex is displayed as a 7-story border between the highway and the proposed lagoon, freeing the space for the development of beach cabins over the water, in a modern reinterpretation of Fiji’s local architecture.

We propose 3 typological experiences:

  • A modular multifamily complex comprised of 8 (7-level) buildings connected by a sun screen wave roof, which host a total of 136 apartments.

  • 9 single family beach cabins over the lagoon, with views to east and west.

  • A club house with gym, spa, restaurant and terrace.
