A Tropical Sanctuary Without Boundaries.

Conceived as a private retreat immersed in nature, Casa Paraíso redefines the relationship between architecture, landscape, and everyday life. More than a home, it is a place of refuge; designed to frame the horizon, embrace its surroundings, and transform every moment into an experience of connection with nature.

Designed as a bridge house, the project appears to challenge gravity, hovering lightly over its terrain while turning the landscape into an ever-present part of daily life. Rather than serving as a mere platform for contemplation, the architecture fully integrates with its environment, allowing its inhabitants to live within the landscape itself; surrounded by expansive views where the natural and the built exist in complete harmony.

Casa Paraíso is a refuge, a nest, a home; created for gathering, family, and meaningful everyday rituals. Every path, every framed view, and every spatial sequence has been carefully designed to elevate the experience of daily living, transforming ordinary moments into something deeply human, inspiring, and unforgettable.

Rooted in a profound vernacular understanding of place, the project merges tropical sensibility with a contemporary spirit of permeable occupation. Here, architecture dissolves into nature. Light and shadow move across materials and textures throughout the day, creating an ever-changing atmosphere where colors, scents, sounds, and shifting reflections blur the boundaries between interior and exterior life.

Territorial Strategy

Living the Entire Landscape

Within an expansive site, the design strategy is as urban as it is architectural. Two primary north–south axes; reinterpreting the logic of the ancient cardo and decumanus; organize the composition of the home while opening both longitudinal and transversal views across the property.

This spatial framework dissolves conventional boundaries between house and site, incorporating the entire landscape into everyday domestic life. The result is a living environment where the full territory becomes inhabitable; where architecture does not occupy the land, but rather reveals it.
